Meet PWE Member - Dana Cain
I was born and raised in Fairburn, GA.
I have been happily married for 20 years. My husband is a DBA manger and a Youth Pastor at our church. I attended the Asher School of Business, and have been very blessed to be a stay-at-home mom for our two boys, ages 14 & 7.
I enjoy serving at my church and playing flute there on occasion, organic vegetable gardening, reading Christian fiction, scrapbooking and making cards, and of course, playing flute with the Peachtree Wind Ensemble (PWE).
I’ve always wanted to play the flute and began playing in the 4th grade. I first joined the PWE in 1993. I got married in 1995 and we moved away, but we moved back to the area in 2000 and I joined the PWE again. At that time I was pregnant with my older son.
I have enjoyed playing in the PWE for the past 15 years. I have seen many changes take place and many directors come and go. At times, I was the only flute play. The PWE has come a long way and I'm proud to say that I am a member.
