Meet PWE Member - Kirsten Schober
I was born in Bloomington, Illinois and attended Illinois State University.
I currently work at Madras Middle School in Newnan as a 7th grade ELA teacher.
I have been involved in music since 5th grade where I started off on flute. I switched to bassoon in high school and played there and then at the collegiate level. I also taught band, chorus, and elementary music for two years in Illinois!
I started playing in Peachtree Wind Ensemble in 2014 when I first moved to Georgia! I love that I found this wonderful gem of an ensemble to continue my love of music in!
My fiancé Nate works at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newnan. We are getting married in June 2015! We currently reside in Newnan with our dog and cat. We love to do anything outdoors, watch movies, and spend time with friends.
